Both large and smaller dogs can enjoy their own space
During exercise and play time, our visiting dogs are grouped according to size, age and temperament to make sure our smaller dogs don’t feel anxious by being with larger dogs. Small dogs within a similar age, nature, size and breed have their own purpose-built kennel building and exercise yard.
We give the dogs exercise and play time twice daily: first thing in the morning and again in the afternoon. All play and exercise time closely is monitored by our team of trained staff.
Dog care, health and nutrition
Dogs under our care are fed Royal Canin. We are happy to give your pet their own special dog food when provided.
Every morning we check the consumption of food and water for close dietary maintenance. We also monitor urinary and bowel motions.
We have a 24-hour vet on call, for any eventuality.
Inspection welcome
We welcome you and your family to visit our dog kennels South Auckland. In fact we encourage all our dog owners to call in and take a look at our facilities before making a booking. To avoid unnecessary disruption to the dogs boarding with us, we ask that you come only between 10am – 2.30pm weekdays and weekends by appointment.
Long Stay Dogs
We encourage first time dogs to come for a trial visit. This will help familiarise your dog with the new environment. A first, short stay with us helps to relieve anxiety before your dog comes for a longer stay. They will remember our South Auckland kennels as a fun place to visit until Mum or Dad collects them again. Your best mate will enjoy their holiday with us as much as you will enjoy yours!
Christmas Stays
We have a minimum 7-day stay over the Christmas period: 20 December through to 10 January. We also require a deposit for bookings during this busy holiday month, and payment in full when you bring in your dog to board with us. This deposit is non-refundable unless your booking is cancelled before 1 December.
Boarding Hours
A full day is charged for your drop off day, irrespective of the time you arrive. If you pick up your pet before 11am, there is no charge applied for that day.
Please note: customers will be charged for all days booked during our peak season.
